| Once the medicine is consumed, the patient should
lie down in a straight posture (avoiding a pillow). The head
should not be in a higher position. This may lead to throw-up
the medicine, resulting in the reduction of the desired result.
This factor should be taken into consideration for at least
an hour. Make sure the patient doesn’t vomit for an hour. |
Lie down in a straight position. |
| The reaction of the medicine leads to vomiting
and purgation. This is how the toxins come out of the body.
If the toxins are present in the upper parts, it comes out through
vomiting, and if present in the lower parts it expels through
purgation. If the whole body contains impurities, It come out
through both means, ie. vomiting and purgation. |
| There are chances of the patient getting nausea
within an hour. If this happen, a few drops of lemon juice can
be dripped into both their eyes. This causes irritation and
tears are produced, which in turn reduces the cranial pressure
and thus avoids vomiting. At these stages, advice the patient
to swallow the saliva, rather than spitting it out. |
| An hour after the intake of the medicine, the
vomiting should not be controlled, as it is meant to expel the
toxins. At this period the patient might get severe stomachache,
which may last for 2-5 hours. This gets reduced as the toxins
expel out. Inform the patient about the nature of this treatment,
before it gets started. |
| After each expulsion, advice the patient to consume
a glass of lukewarm water, in order to avoided dehydration. |
| The ideal time to start the treatment is in the
morning by around 8.30, with an empty stomach. The expulsion
will come to a halt by evening 4.00. After which the patient
can have a hot water bath, followed by intake of hot gruel of
rice or wheat with less salt until the stomach is full. This
is unavoidable. After this the patient should take rest for
a minimum of half an hour. |
